Second Life

Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by a total of 5,515,482 people from around the globe. From the moment you enter the World you'll discover a vast digital continent, teeming with people, entertainment, experiences and opportunity. Once you've explored a bit, perhaps you'll find a perfect parcel of land to build your house or business. You'll also be surrounded by the Creations of your fellow residents. Because residents retain the rights to their digital creations, they can buy, sell and trade with other residents. The Marketplace currently supports millions of US dollars in monthly transactions. This commerce is handled with the in-world currency, the Linden dollar, which can be converted to US dollars at several thriving online currency exchanges.

Second Life is a place dedicated to your creativity. It's about dreaming of something one moment and bringing it to life the next. Everything in Second Life is resident-created, from the strobe lights in the nightclubs to the car (or spaceship) in your driveway.

Imagine tinkering with the steering and handling program of a motorcycle while your friend tweaks the shape of the fuel tank and gives it a wicked flame paint job, in-world and in real-time, before you both take it for a spin down a newly created road to look for some land to buy. Avatrian in Second Life

Our dominant presence is in the virtual world of Second Life. Described by the Economist magazine as 'a petri-dish for innovation', it has become the dominant and fastest growing metaverse platform. In this on-line community, we have over three years of experience as builders, texture makers, scripters, event organizers, estate managers and machinima producers. As a business entity, we have investments in the form of whole simulators, multiple inventories, various parcels of land, in-world building tools, a myriad of original virtual creations and, most importantly, knowledge and expertise in the Second Life universe. A majority of our virtual products are built, sold, and used in this environment. And, it follows that our most effective consultancy is also in the Second Life platform.

Our headquarters in Second Life, Camp Big Falcon, is located in the Avatrian Central sim. That is where we conduct all of our in-world business affairs, regular meetings, and training sessions. The complex was built with a 70s mecha theme in design. But, it has multiple purpose as a public hangout, Godaikin fan site and the company's headquarters. The whole sim is open to the Second Life community. Besides its utilitarian function, it is also one of the prime examples of our large-scale building and scripting capabilities.
